1. About us

A Ceylon LK is a software studio registered in Sri Lanka. Our office is in Colombo and we operate at aceylon.lk.

2. Use of the site

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse it — including attempts to disrupt, scrape at scale, probe vulnerabilities without authorisation, or use it to send spam or unlawful content.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the site — copy, design, code, brand marks and imagery — is owned by A Ceylon or licensed to us. Re-use, copying or republishing without written permission is not permitted. Case studies are published with our clients' consent and remain the property of their respective owners.

4. Project engagements

Project work is governed by a separate written agreement (a statement of work, contract or proposal we both sign). Where anything in those documents conflicts with these terms, the project document wins.

• Quotes and proposals are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise in writing.
• Timelines depend on timely client feedback. We'll flag delays in writing as soon as they emerge.
• Deliverables are released to the client once the final invoice is paid in full.

5. Payments

Unless otherwise agreed, projects are split into milestones with payment on each milestone. Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice. Late payments may pause work until the account is current.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We're happy to sign a mutual NDA before sharing project details. Our team members are bound by the same standard internally.

7. Warranties & liability

We deliver work with reasonable care and skill. We do not warrant that the site or any deliverable is error-free or fit for every purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees paid to us under the relevant engagement in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement under the conditions set in the relevant project agreement. Use of the website may be suspended without notice for breach of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, unless mandatory law says otherwise.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms occasionally. The latest version will always live on this page; the “last updated” date shows when it changed.
